I don't usually give much credence to conspiracy theories, but this is getting weird.
ive read several different news articles about it and im slightly confused, (no thanks to internet explorer's tabl-less browsing!) as they all seem to tell slightly different versions. what seems to be fact is that 3 undersea cables were cut, one in two places. there are several headlines saying that a fourth has been 'cut' or 'severed' but the articles go on to say that it was a power outage at some station. but then another story said that there was definelty a severance and that there were ships en route to fix it. i dont think these disparate accounts prove anything, but that 3 (even 4?) cables being cut in one week is unprecedented.
the most affected countries were supposedly qatar, the UAE, and Iran. this website says Iran lost all their internet. though it also seems very into conspiracy theorie side of it.
can you make any sense of this?
again?

i agree, that 4th cable going seems more than peculiar. especially since there was no ship where the cable was severed. precursor to strike? that sounds like crazy talk. but who knows?
who knew that if you cut a few cable who could stop an entire country's access to the internet? i can't imagine what would happen in the us if we lost the internet. seriously, it would be crazy.
