ive been sick the past few days so it has been hard to blog. but i've got a couple of pics and a short semi-interesting video below.
here is my list for my current favorite/most interesting characters in the bible (chronologically) with a very brief description based on my superficial knowledge of what is going on. do you have any favorites?

Esau-man of the open country. fogives jacob after jacob has really stabbed him in the back
Jacob - what has jacob done to deserve God's favor?? its great!
Joseph- great story of a broken family invaded by grace. could i really be forgiven like joseph forgave his brothers??!
Isaiah- Isaiah 6 1-13
Hezekiah- Isaiah 36-39; especially when he lays the letter out before the LORD
Nebuchadnezzar- everything, but especially his life from Daniel
Nicodemus- asks some similar questions in John that I would have asked
Pilate-enigmatic. i love how you can see how he succombs to politics and the Jews and his question, "what is truth?". you can't make that up.

Elijah. not only does God do amazing things through him (who doesn't want to taunt false prophets and then have God show His power right there by lighting the altar?) but he also has to rely completely on God's word for instruction. its hard for me to to imagine someone so powerful, yet wholly reliant on God--the gospel!

moses-his face glows so much that he needs to wear a veil after he sees the back-side of God. he knows God better than anyone, but still isn't let into the promised land.

john the baptist-ate locusts in the desert, beheaded for herod's daughter, elijah reincarnated, etc.
