friday night i came back to school at 1030pm to sleep with the security guard. i think i woke him up because he didn't look very happy with me. i fell asleep pretty quickly and then he started snoring. i banged the floor and made as much noise as i could but he wouldn't stop. so i got up, put my clothes on asked him to let me out. so i walked around until 2am when i met up with some teachers. we drove 3 hours to a mtn east of seoul and started hiking at 5am. i don't think i will ever go hiking again in korea.
first of all there are hundreds, nay, thousands of people crowding the trails. you have to wait in line sometimes to cross through some areas. also the trails are straight up, as evidenced from the pics above. my knees felt like they were falling apart. everyone, and i mean everyone, has hiking pants, shirts, vests, shoes, backpacks, and walking sticks. many people had little tin cups hanging from their bags. mind you this is a 5km hike. and apparently in korea the custom for many people to hike to the top, drink alcohol, and stumble down. i only saw one group drinking on this hike. the other time i went hiking there were many more.
the guy in the third picture is my principal who invited me to come. the sixth and seventh pics are me at the top. i had to fight my way next to that rock. im glad i did it and i had a great time, but i dont think my knees could take another hike in korea.

sounds like you're getting fat and whiny- keep hiking!
i really like the shot with you in the middle of a group of hikers, (friends?) presumably at the top, with your finger in air. are you saying that you're number one? also, in all their pictures, you will be looking off to the side. either you're a weird friend or you just ruined 15 peoples "here's me at the top" pictures.
Hey-0!!!! Someone's gonna be sore tomorrow!!!!!!
You should not sleep with security guards.
Let me get this straight: you went hiking at 5 Am after being awake all night! No wonder you had a bad hike.
