if this doesn't get someone out here to visit me soon, i don't know what will. one interesting phenomenon in K is their take on capitalism. case in point, the puppy district. i have been doing some exploring around my neighboorhood and noticed something a bit unnerving. instead of having a mall or area with all different shops and stores, they instead group them all together in weird combinations. so i will walk down one street and it will be all books and linen. then i turn a corner and its all garden supplies. dozens of garden supply stores lining the sidewalks. turn a coner, soccer jerseys and outdoor gear (north face and red face are the most poplular). last week as i sauntered i found the street pictured above. nothing but puppies as far as the eye could see. on both sides of the street. they've got them all piled in the windows playing with eachother and sleeping in little bundles. you can take them out and they put them on a table for you so you can experience their petability and smell their puppy breath.

i like your take on korean capitalism in this one. you're a smarty.
puppies are cute. when korean puppies bark, they are speaking a different language than american puppies.
