that first picture goes out to all my friends named poor. he's pretty cool. the western names the kids give themselves are hilarious. for example: mina, joon, miran, wascab, jino, kiben (kevin) rora (laura?) cookie, chicken, soda, dollar, 2 dollar, super mario. there are more that i can't remember right now.
nothing is really going on so i just took some pics on my way home today. im still feeling a little sheepish about people seeing me taking pictures. for some reason. that second pic is another parking garage and the third one is under the subway station near my school. tomorrow i only have 2 classes (whoo hoo!) it seems like every other day there is something going on to where i don't have classes. today i didn't have any afternoon classes because we had a classical music concert. it was sweet.
i saw one of my favorite shirts today. it said " I [heart] boxed wine"
also i reveived confirmation that the elephant ad was indeed for a proctologist (no joke).

my cell phone will blow your mind

(literally)

fried chicken is very popular here. although i don't see chicken around very much. the meat of choice is first fish and then probably pork. beef is really expensive.
that is the kimchi that yongu's sister made. so good. and next to it is my cell phone.

korean pears are so much better than western pears. and they look like big brown apples.

yong gu and i went to see the bourne ultimatum. afterwards we ate raw fish. this is the second time in my life i've had snails.

this is a shot straight up. its a parking garage that is actually in my building. i think it goes all the way to the top, 15 stories. you drive your car into a garage-like hole, get out, and your car rotates around.

well well well...

here is what i was greeted with at my orientation. can you imagine eating meals like this for breakfast? they had some white bread for toast though. which i ate every meal.

but i think that this was pretty much because it was cafeteria food. i went shopping the other day for an adapter for my ihome and a friend and i ate at the food court there. i got something called bibimbop. it was really good. everytime i eat kimche i like it more. so i am going to keep eating it. the soup next to it is mushed bean or something like that. it was also good and made me feel nutritious.

this is the "parking garage" that is outside of my window.

hopefully as i get better at blogspot the posts will be better. im thinking that i will just put up alot of pictures, especially of the engrish. about 90% of all of the english i see (on peoples' shirts, billboards etc.) is engrigh, to the point where i am starting to think in it. if anyone wants a cool engrish T-shirt, lemme know.
